The field of collectible, vintage, and antique clothing is often confusing. Prices can vary enormously, depending on where you are. Prior to 1940, almost all apparel was custom made, therefore unique in design and construction. A demand for wearable 1950s-1970s clothing has surfaced with young collectors.
