Wooden Figurines from Equador These are handcarved wooden figurines marked on the back, Made in Ecuador. They represent a peasant couple and were brought back from Equador in the 1950's. One is 6 1/2 in. tall and 2 1/4 in. wide and the other is 7 in. tall and 2 1/2 in. wide. They are very unique.

Handpainted Russian Egg on Stand This egg is handpainted in the Russian Matrioshka(nesting doll) style, although it does not have nesting dolls. It is painted on wood and sits on a stand that is 1 1/8 X 1 in. The egg itself is 2 1/4 in. X 1 3/4 in. The total height with the stand is 3 1/2 in. The egg is signed by the artist on the bottom. This piece was acquired from an exchange student from Russia. It is in excellent condition.

Oriental Statue of Woman This figurine has the appearance and coloration of ivory. The detailed figure of a woman is 11 1/2 in. tall and 5 1/2 in across at the widest point. The diameter of the carved black base which is attached, is 3 in. On the back of the figure is the marking of an S with an H underneath. The figure is from the early 1960's.

German Shepherd Antique Metal Figurine This antique German Shepherd figurine is made in Germany. The marking is found down the inside of one of the back legs. The metal is not known. The finish is detailed and the eyes and nose are done in black. He measures 4 in. long and 3 in. tall.

Brass Hunter Figurine This solid brass figurine is of a hunter. He is 6 3/4 in. in height and 1 1/2 in. wide. The base of the figurine is 1 1/2 X 2 1/8 in.
