Manufacturer: Fraser Cottages

Made in Scotland, Fraser cottages are reminiscent of countryside cottages in England, Scotland and Ireland. The name of this cottage is Ivy Mews, and is from the time when falconry was the sport of nobility. Special hawk rooms known as mews, were built around courtyards. Later used for stabling horses, mews came to mean any living accommodations grouped around a courtyard. This cottage is 4 in. tall, 5 1/8 in. long, and 3 1/2 in. wide. It is greatly detailed, which is a feature of all Fraser collectibles. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and original box. |
