There are six handcarved stone eggs in this collection. They are sculpted in stone in the Rift Valley, Kenya. The eggs are a symbol of new life and rebirth. The eggs are first handcarved and finished and then dyed with colors from natural plants. They are then inscribed with designs revealing the natural stone color. They vary slightly in size, color and design. The average egg is 2 1/4 X 1 1/2 in. They do come with a certificate of authenticity stating that these were made in early 1995. They are very unique.
