This egg is handpainted in the Russian Matrioshka(nesting doll) style, although it does not have nesting dolls. It is painted on wood and sits on a stand that is 1 1/8 X 1 in. The egg itself is 2 1/4 in. X 1 3/4 in. The total height with the stand is 3 1/2 in. The egg is signed by the artist on the bottom. This piece was acquired from an exchange student from Russia. It is in excellent condition.
