This is a contemorary piece. The resin book has the appearance of an old leather volume. In the front of the book a quartz clock is inserted. It is battery operated and works perfectly. The book is 4 1/2 in. X 6 in. The width is 2 3/4 in. The clock itself is 2 1/2 in. in diameter. There are no chips.
