This set of four delft style handpainted plates are from the Arabia Porcelain Factory in Finland. The Arabia Factory is one of the best in Europe and is known for high quality wares. They are 6 3/4 in. in diameter. Marked on the bottom is: Arabia, Made in Finland. They date post 1940. The approximate value is just over $100 based on auction estimates. There is normal crazing and some discoloring and staining expecially to one of the plates. They still make a wonderful part of a blue and white decor. |
