The John F. Kennedys by Mark Shaw is a Family Album. This is the third printing, 1964 from Farrar, Straus
and Company, New York, publisher. Mr. Shaw started taking photographs of the Kennedy family in 1959, when he traveled with them for several months on and between campaign trips. Because the pictures speak for themselves they do not have captions, but at the end of the book Mr. Shaw has added a few brief notes describing the circumstances under which certain pictures or series of pictures were taken. "The John F. Kennedys" is a family album and a historical document. It is 8 1/2 in. X 11 in. and is 151 pages in length.
