This exquisite floral guilded vase was made by Franz Neukirchner of Bavaria. It is designed with an oriental flair and features a collar base, bulbous formed body, and a domed temple lid. The vibrant colors provide a wonderful contrast in royal blue, cream and gold. Estimated age is c1960. The jar is a total of 12 in. in height and is 6 1/2 in. in diameter at the largest point. The bottom has a colorful mark noting Bavaria, Germany with the numbers 1439/2. |
